My purpose for the first two parts of this series (here and here) was to point out that the narrative of Barack Obama's birth and his parents relationship was a complete farce. To those who have objectively studied the background of our president this comes as no surprise. All that I wrote is well documented and well known to anyone who cared to look and could have been easily disclosed to the American public long ago so that the American public could make an informed judgement before they elected "the most powerful man in the world." It would have been nice to know that his life story is.....well- not true.
The fact that the truth of Barack Obama's past was not disclosed to the American public is as complete an indictment of the so called mainstream media's bias as there could ever be. The fact that the same media establishment, now that the truth is coming out, still attempts to shield Obama's true historical record through partial disclosures and selective editing of the President's life story only serves to to convict them as totally unreliable and corrupt. This too should be no surprise to anyone who has paid attention. As I wrote prior to the election:
Worse yet we have no press that will study Obama’s performance with an objective less alone a skeptical attitude, they are so vested in his success that only the most blatant of failures and corruption will be brought to a less and less informed public’s attention. How do we know this? The record, the record of how the press has covered Obama as a candidate and how they have vilified his opponents leads to only one conclusion, they will continue to do it. Just as Obama’s political and associations record should be used to judge how he will govern, so should the media’s record on how they portray and cover Obama be used to ascertain how they will cover his presidency.Regardless of the media's complicity in this historical cover up, the fact remains that it is Obama himself who is primarily responsible for pulling the wool over our eyes. After all much of what is false or misrepresentations about Obama is either a direct result of his own misrepresentations or his failure to set the record straight. Obama who represented himself as the great healer is in fact the very person, in almost every instance, that has deliberately divided us when he could so easily have healed. To put it simply he has continuously portrayed himself to be something that he is is not, he is a wolf in sheep's clothing.
I am not going to get deep into Obama's childhood, particularly his time in Indonesia since only how he has hidden the details of that time are relevant to a discussion of the character of the man Barack Obama. The fact that he was or was not raised in the Muslim faith is irrelevant. Even though the possibility that he may have hidden this aspect of his past might be pertinent in ascertaining his propensity to mislead about his past the speculation about this pales in comparison to the known facts about his life.
There is one aspect of Obama's childhood which has been totally ignored and indeed covered up which not only is striking in its blatant denial but also would shed light onto the ideological foundation of Barack Obama the man. This hidden or more aptly described, this ignored aspect of our President's past has to do with his childhood "mentor", Frank Marshall Davis. Whether this man, the mysterious "Frank" of Dreams from my Father fame had an influence on Obama is easy to see when you know his political ideals and compare them to other parts of the young man Obama's life which similarly have been ignored and distorted. "Give me the child and I'll show you the man."
One of the countless little items that seem not to matter when it comes to Obama's past and his portrayal of his family and his heritage is that his grandfather, "Gramps", had an FBI file. Remember the popular narrative on Stanley Dunham was that he was just an All American Kansas boy who served with Patton in World War Two who moved his family from Seattle in 1960 to further his career as a furniture salesman.
In these days of super computers and justifiable deep suspicions over government intrusion into individual liberties, the idea that some innocent American may have an FBI file on them seems plausible. However Stanley Dunham died in 1992 making this a little less likely, the FBI for all its sometimes malevolent reputation does not have the resources to investigate countless Americans and create files on them at a whim especially in the days before computers. Generally speaking there would have to be a very good reason for the FBI to open a file on someone, at the very least a person would have had to come to the Bureau's attention in some way.
So why did "Gramps" have an FBI file and what did it say? We don't know it was destroyed in 1997. Why, this too we do not know. But one thing we do know and one reason that the FBI may have taken an interest in "Gramps" is his close association and friendship with Frank Marshall Davis, a known communist whose activities they monitored for years. How close were the two men?
“He knew Stan real well,” said Dawna Weatherly-Williams, a close friend of Mr Davis “They’d play Scrabble and drink and crack jokes and crack jokes and argue. Frank always won and he was always very braggadocio about it too. It was all jocular. They didn’t get polluted drunk. And Frank never really did drugs, though he and Stan would smoke pot together.”
The above linked article was published in August of 2008 in the UK Daily Mail at the height of the Presidential campaign. Do you remember all the media coverage of "Gramps" toking it up with a known communist who Obama referred to in Dreams from my Father 25 times?

There are many aspects to the Frank Marshall Davis portion of Obama's life story, any one of which could keep a true journalist very busy if one was so inclined, which obviously they are not. Just the obvious is enough to throw up red flags. One of the narratives to explain why Obama even knew "Frank" was that his grandfather "Gramps" wanted young Barack to have a male African American figure in his life. If that is the case then what manner of grandfather subjects his young ten year old grandson to situations such as this:
He would read us his poetry whenever we stopped by his house, sharing whiskey with gramps out of an emptied jelly jar. As the night wore on, the two of them would solicit my help in composing dirty limericks. Eventually, the conservation would turn to laments about women.
“They’ll drive you to drink, boy,” Frank would tell me soberly. “And if you let ‘em, they’ll drive you into your grave.”
I was intrigued by the old Frank, with his books and whiskey breath and the hint of hard-earned knowledge behind the hooded eyes. The visits to his house always left me feeling vaguely uncomfortable, though, as if I were witnessing some complicated, unspoken transaction between the two men, a transaction I couldn’t fully understand….
Not exactly the environment that you would think that an all American hero of World War Two would expose his young impressionable grandson to. But what the heck different strokes and all. But it begs the question of why when Obama in the campaign of 2008 was out portraying his grandparents as virtual symbols of the American heartland while his own autobiography portrays himself as being raised by people who seemed to lack simple moral judgement. The more you know the truth of Obama's early life the more you see how ill served he was by the "adults" responsible for raising him.
We do not know if "Gramps" who we are told Frank "knew Stan well" was aware of the fact that "Frank" was a pornographer who wrote an autobiographical account of his sexual escapades which included scenes of pedophilia.
It has also been established that Mr Davis, who divorced in 1970, was the author of a hard-core pornographic autobiography published in San Diego in 1968 by Greenleaf Classics under the pseudonym Bob Greene
One would hope that had "gramps" been aware of this aspect of "Franks" life he would not have exposed young Barack or Barry as he was still known at the time, to such a man. A man who the left continues to portray as a some sort of hero of the civil rights movement.
A poem that Obama wrote in college which the media claims was written about "Gramps" is much more likely to be about "Frank", if for no other reason than the line "...he switches channels, recites an old poem He wrote before his mother died," when in fact "gramps" mother died when he was eight years old and he was not known as a poet whereas "Frank's" mother passed away long after he was an established poet. Regardless the poem called Pop is pretty dark and disturbing, "Pop takes another shot, neat, Points out the same amber Stain on his shorts that I’ve got on mine, and Makes me smell his smell, coming From me" Disturbing regardless who he was referring to, even more so if it was about the man who raised him.
There is much more that can be said about "Frank" and his life and drug and sexual adventures, some of it speculative for sure, but much of it verified by friends and eye witness accounts. But it is not Frank Marshall Davis who is president so the importance of what he did or did not do is only relevant as it relates to Barack Obama and how it influenced him..
Putting aside the darker nature of "Frank", of which there is far more, the meaningful aspect of their relationship as it relates to Obama the President of the United States, is how "Frank's" political beliefs might have affected and even shaped the future president.
First of all there is no doubt that Frank Marshall Davis was a communist, Having read much of his FBI file which was compiled over many years by different agents in different locations gives the facts they report on a great deal of validity. In other words this is not some story conjured up by right wingers trying to discredit an Obama "casual" acquaintance. After all Frank Marshall Davis when called before a Senate committee investigating communist activities in the Hawaiian Territory pleaded the Fifth when asked if he was a communist.
Numerous informants and people who were former communist members have sworn to their knowledge of "Frank's" activities as a member of the Communist Party. His own writings indicate not only his sympathies but his active support of communist ideals and programs. Those who attempt to claim that "Frank" was merely a civil rights and/or a union activist are ill informed at minimum but most are blatantly trying to mislead the public to protect Obama.
What undeniably and without a bit of doubt can be said about "Frank" Marshall Davis is that he was a pornographer, drug user/dealer and an active member of the communist party. Did he have an influence on Barack Obama and his outlook on life and politics? Well the evidence if you are not in complete denial is pretty conclusive if you just look for it. But we will have more on that in part 2 of Sheep's Clothing where we are no longer constrained by Barry the boy but begin to see Barack the man. The man most did not know when he was elected president of the United States. The man whom few do truly know, America's great denial..
