Obviously I have no information on the terrible events in Boston yesterday, but my impression is that it seems more like the Oklahoma City Bombing than an international terrorist attack.
I do not know why I have this feeling other than the lack of anyone taking credit for the events. If it turns out that way, things are going to get very bad, very quick.

Interesting comment, Jer, and I tend to agree with you - especially now, two days later. But would you expand a bit on the second part of your comment? Why do you think things are going to get bad, and in what ways?

ReplyDeleteIf it is a Militia type person, or organization responsible for this, then you can expect a big backlash against Tea Party and conservatives.

That's what I was wondering. Within a few hours of the bombing, I saw headlines about it being Tax Day, so I've been wondering if they would try to connect it to the Tea Party. I'm sure there will be a spin against conservatives in some manner - that's what MSM does.
