"Our side suffered a massive loss on Tuesday.
But as long as we keep our minds and hearts focused on the fundamental goodness and truth that guide our path, we will not be defeated. We will endure, persevere and in due course, we will be vindicated."

  1. I'm going to put this here because I'm wondering out loud...
All of these companies that a firing, laying off, putting people on part time..
...is there any work around for this at all?

Instead of hourly...are saleried employees considered full time?...how about making them independent contractors or something?

There's a ton of people that are going to get fired or put on part time the end of Dec...

    1. Actually I had read an article awhile back, I believe it was Walter Russel Meade about the future economy would be comprised of a lot more Independent Contractors rather than employees. It had nothing to do with Obamacare, just the way things were heading.

I think you may be right though that Obamacare will speed up this process and in fact that in the long run will be a very good thing for a lot of reasons. Mainly because the self employed tend to grow more conservative politically and less dependent or trusting in government. The irony of course is that big government solutions generally lead to their own destruction, this probably will turn out to be the case with Obamacare as well.

    1. yep....even more massive

What will that do to affordable Obama care though?

It only works when the private sector is making money and paying for it....

That's the part of liberals I'll never understand....if they would put more people to work in the private sector...lower energy prices, and lower taxes/overhead....more people would be paying more money/taxes....and then they could have all the liberal programs they wanted
