Actually for what Romney needed to do, he won running away. He appealed to the women vote, he did not make any mistakes or gaffes, most of all he looked and sounded like the President on the stage.
I told my wife going in that he should avoid attacking Obama on Libya and let it just play out in the media and I suspect this threw Obama who was all prepared to have a long discussion on it.
