*American Ingenuity

One of the most ingenious stories I ever heard was about Henry Ford. The story goes, while perfecting the process for the assembly line process for mass production of the Model T he contacted the supplier who manufactured the car's windshield. Mr. Ford instructed the supplier to ship the windshields and gave precise specifications for the crate in which the glass was to be shipped. The reason was not an obsessive attention to detail, the reason for the shipping crates specifications was that when unpacked, the crate was incorporated into the car, the floor board.

That simple genius created an empire. That is the way it usually is simple little things are capable of changing the world. Henry Ford's ingenuity certainly did.
