Some things happening in the media/technology arena are worse than censorship. You cannot really call it "fake news" because it is not news, it is just propaganda and manipulation of technologies which we now come to depend on.
Yes it is simply propaganda disguised under the first amendment. The first amendment was to secure a free press that was dogmatic in pursuing the truth no mater the ideology of any particular politics. That freedom has been turned on its head and now has become an overwhelming soapbox that is seldom refuted within its own peers in order to substantiate the medias own bias. That is not what the freedom of the press was designed to be. That special freedom has become a weapon to use against freedom of speech and further a one sided agenda. The answewr is not to censer but to call them (media) out and counter. The tide is turning but its so far a weak tide.
